Swedish crispy apple pie, or as we say in Sweden – Knäckig äppelpaj :) This is really one of the best apple pies you ever will try! Set the oven to 175 degrees Celsius or 350 Fahrenheit2. Peel, core and slice the apples, mix with sugar and cinnamon and place in a pie plate - about 25 cm in diameter or 10 inch.3. Melt the butter in a frying pan or saucepan together with powdered sugar, syrup and cream.4. Mix down oatmeal and flour mixed with baking powder and salt and stir to a smooth batter. Remove from heat.5. Spread the batter over the apples in the pie plate.6. Bake in the lower part of the oven for about 35-40 minutes, until the pie is golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.7. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
